Dylan Kachur, Jan Ritzenhoff and Jacob Matta swept the singles matches.
David Gow/Aneesh Mistry and Garrett Lawlor/Max Lovig won at doubles.
The Chiefs are 6-0 so far this year; the Cowboys are 3-2.
Wamogo 4, Gilbert 1 >> Kevin Fenn, Mike McCarthy and Ben Frisbee swept the singles matches at Gilbert.
Yellowjackets Oliver Sun/Jacob Tran won first doubles. Gilbert forfeited No. 2 doubles.
Wamogo is 1-3; Gilbert, 1-2.
Housatonic 4, Lewis Mills 1 >> Jonathan Miller stayed undefeated at No. 1 singles.
Mills’ Shawn Magill won a tough battle at No. 2.
The Mountaineers won out from there.
Julien Wisman won No. 3 singles. Max Vadakin/Mo Elserafi and Justin Gomez/Moustafa Sakr swept the doubles.
Shepaug 3, Northwestern 2 >> The Spartans took the match with singles wins. Josh Jordan, Sam Pintolilo and Jack Virbickas won all three.
Highlanders Sam Switzgable/Alec Harwood and Reg Denny/Adam Choquette won at doubles.
Both teams are 1-3.
Torrington 9, Crosby 0 >> The Red Raiders (4-0) completed their third shutout in a row with the win at Crosby (0-3). Scott Dixon, Alain Malcolm, Billy Weber, Kevin Dixon, Ryan Nader and Naseem Thompson continued their roll at singles.
Kevin Dixon/Ryan Nader, Sean Hartwell/Will Elmendorf and Luke Wassik/Richard Zheng held their streak at doubles.
Girls Tennis
Wamogo 7, Gilbert 0 >> Julie Morris, Hannah Lettau, Casey Frisbie and Amy Couture swept the singles matches at Wamogo.
Madeline Williams/Rachel Piontkewicz, Chloe Arnold/Amanda Fowler won first and second doubles. Gilbert forfeited No. 3 doubles.
Torringon 7, Crosby 0 >> Bayleigh Dimauro, Julia Traub, Cara McCarthy and Emily Buzzi won the singles matches.
Candyce Jewett/Izzie Weber, Kaitlynn Grantmeyer/Tatum Marino and Sydney Mourges/Jennifer Zheng swept the doubles.

Conard 4, Thomaston 1 >> Conard-West Hartford scored four runs in the fourth inning for a win at Thomaston. Crysta Wolski led the Chieftans, going 2-for-3 with a double and a home run.
The Golden Bears got a run in the sixth on a home run by Morgan Sanson.
Gabrielle Hurlbert (3-for-4) and Alexa Milius (2-for-3, double) helped the Bears outhit Conard 8-4 in the effort.
Sanson and Chieftan pitcher Bridget Garach each threw 7 strikeouts.
Wamogo 5, Northwestern 4 (8) >> The Warriors led 4-2 after five innings at Wamogo High School. Northwestern’s Kate Matava tied it 4-4 with a two-run double in the sixth.
After a scoreless seventh, Warrior Olivia Cook drove in Savannah Wheeler for the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth.
Wolcott Tech 17, Bullard Havens 2 >> The Wildcats scored 10 runs in the fourth inning at Wolcott Tech, breaking open a game that evened their record at 3-3.
Madison Rubino had a double, 2 triples, RBI and 3 runs scored; Jenna Lemanquais had 2 doubles, 4 RBI and a run scored; Alicia Winn had 3 hits, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Lemanquais limited Bullard Havens (0-3) to just three hits.
Lewis Mills 13, Litchfield 3 >> Amanda Sullivan (2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBI) and Coral Gorack (2-for-3, 2 runs) led the Spartan stampede at Lewis Mills.
Mary Spierto scored 2 runs for the Cowgirls; Sam Foley (2-for-4, double) had the other.
Baseball
Lewis Mills 11, Litchfield 7 >> The Spartans (1-4) broke through for their first win of the season, at Litchfield (0-5). Mills built a 6-2 lead by the top of the second behind Mike Ciccarelli (3-for-4) and doubles from Will Coughlin, Brian Nedley and Jon Gorski.
The Cowboys, outhitting Mills 12-9, tied it in the bottom of the third, led by Cal McKenna (3-for-5), Ryan O’Bernier (2-for-4, 2 RBI) and Nick Andro (2-for-4, 2 RBI).
Mills surged with three more runs in the top of the fourth and never looked back.
Terryville 6, Housatonic 2 >> Terryville broke a 1-1 tie with three runs in the third inning at Housatonic while complete-game pitcher Connor Levins limited the Mountaineers to four hits and one more run in the bottom of the seventh.
Kangaroo John Grimes was 2-for-3, with a double, 2 RBI and a run scored.
Scott Dignacco had a run and two hits, with a double, for Housy.
The Kangaroos are 3-1; Housatonic is 1-4.
Shepaug 7, Platt 4 >> The Spartans (5-1) broke open a close game with five runs in the fourth inning. Alan Stinson (2 hits, 2 RBI), John Swanson (2 hits, double, 2 runs), Ryan LaMay (2 hits, RBI) and Austin Dutcher (2 RBI, 2 runs) led the charge.
Jason Sullivan (2 hits, RBI), Cameron Coon and Christian Febles all doubled for the Panthers (2-2) from Meriden.
Gilbert 15, Nonnewaug 5 >> The Yellowjackets (3-2) swept to a 9-2 lead in the first two innings at Walker Field, then kept their foot on the gas.
Tim Smith had a home run; Cam Goulet doubled.
Dominic Piscitelli had a double for the Chiefs (2-3).
Bullard Haven 11, Wolcott Tech 10 >> The Tigers edged Wolcott Tech behind Jorge Varga (3 runs) and Brandon Ortiz (2 hits, double, 2 runs).
Jimmy Lamanna (3 hits, triple, 2 RBI, 2 runs), Riley Shredders (2 hits, double, 3 runs) and D.J. Reynolds (4-for-5, 2 runs) had big sticks for the Wildcats.
