Brian Howell had three hits, including the walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth to lift Ludlowe’s baseball team over Trumbull. It was the fifth walk-off victory for the Falcons this year and comes a day after they lost their first game of the year, 2-1 to Ridgefield.
Greg Calabrese had two hits, including the game-tying single in the seventh while Blake Benway had two hits and scored a run. Jamie Flink got the win in relief.

The Indians trailed 2-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning. Jack Strand led off with a triple and John Petonito drove him in with a single. Mike Stebbins picked up the victory in relief. Chris Malcolm went 3-for-5 for East Lyme.
